I have noticed exactly the same! I buy my Cosmedix from a beautician in the UK. It used to smell like vanilla, but the jar I bought the other day smells like lavender. I have emailed both my beautician and Cosmedix about this, so I will update you when I hear back.

Question
What has happened to Hydrate
I have been using Hydrate (and prior to that Protect) for many years and have noticed that the last jar I purchased just isn't the same. Has the formula for Hydrate changed? It was out of stock everywhere and impossible to get recently and now that it has become available again it just isn't the same. It smells and feels different. It now leaves a greasy feeling on the skin. What has happened?????

There are 2 ways in which the formula was updated: essential oils were updated and the zinc oxide supplier changed. We are constantly exploring ways to update our formulas to provide to our customers even better skin perfecting results. As a company that is ever evolving and with a commitment to providing our customers with the most effective ingredients and the latest formulations, you may notice from time to time enhancements to our formulas. It is however our goal to never change the product experience.

The only moisturizer I see is Hydrate with sunscreen (seems to be meant for daytime). Is there one for night time use?

We have 3 other moisturizers that are a little more intense than Hydrate+:
Phytoharmony ($58) is an ultra-emollient cream which helps hydrate dry, imbalanced skin.
Phytoclear ($58) is a clarifying hydrator ideal for skin struggling with clogged pores and excess oiliness.
Emulsion ($74) is a deep-penetrating moisturizer for excessively dry skin or to alleviate and help prevent irritation following aggressive exfoliation.
